  • Bridge Amplifier

    The FE-579-TA is a low noise differential amplifier for conditioning full and fractional bridge transducers and strain gauges.

    • Jumper configured 1/4, 1/2 and full bridge operation with built in 120 ohm and 350 ohm completion resistors
    • High stability remotely referenced bridge supply with precise selections
    • Auto Balance and Auto Zero enables any bridge to be balanced
    • Built in Shunt Calibration
    • Low pass filter configured by plug in resistor packs
  • Dynamic Strain

    The FE-537-SGA is a low noise differential amplifier for dynamic strain applications at frequencies from 1Hz to over 100 kHz. It energises a remote strain gauge with an exact constant current allowing operation with long twisted pair cables and zener barriers whilst providing immunity from long term effects such as temperature variation. The amlifier is AC coupled and provides a dynamic signal with the D.C. level of any static signal removed.
    • Bridge balancing or completion is not required
    • Precision low noise constant current source
    • Detects and displays open circuit transducer connection
    • Built in traceable Dynamic Calibration
    • High pass and low pass filters configured by plug in resistor packs
  • Isolation Amplifiers

    The FE-560-IA is a general purpose isolation amplifier for front end use when hazardous voltages must be measured with isolation mode voltage of +/- 1500 V and a signal maximum of 1000 V peak or DC.

    The FE-561-IA is for front end use when hazardous voltages must be measured with isolation mode voltage of +/- 1500 V and a signal maximum of 2500 V peak or DC.

    • Ideal for power monitoring of line directly, and current, using shunts.
    • May be applied for system ground isolation with gain and attenuation as required.
    • Use with high voltage signals or small signals with high common mode voltage.
    • Galvanic isolation to 3kV pk-pk. FE-560-IA Uses advanced depletion mode FET input protection.
    • Bandwith from DC to 50 kHz with built in configurable low pass filter.
    • Low pass filter configured by plug in resistor packs.
    • Input connectors are typically sheathed banana plugs, but other connector types can be specified depending upon the application.

    Note that remote control is not an option for these module types.

  • IEPE Amplifier

    The FE-530-IE is a high perfromance IEPE amplifier for conditioning piezo transducers with built-in low impedance buffering, commonly referrred to as Integrated Electronic Piezo Electric.

    • Unique IEPE current receiver allows operation with non-isolated transducers.
    • Use as a high bandwidth, low noise differential amplifier for other AC signal sources.
    • Detects and displays open circuit transducer connection.
    • Piezo accelerometers may be converted to IEPE using the FE-074-HAC head amplifier.
    • High pass and low pass filters configured by plug in resistor packs.
    • TEDS transducers can be used when the module is combined with the remote control option.
  • Enclosures

    Two Channel Case: FE-PE2

    The FE-PE2 is the smallest case in the series, housing two modules. Power supply can be mains (choose 230V or 110V) or DC (11V to 14V) The mains lead is integral and should be specified for the country of intended use.

    The FE-PE17 houses up to sixteen modules. Power supply can be mains (choose 230V or 110V or dual mains) or DC (11V to 14V) The mains lead is IEC type.

  • RS232 Control

    The FE-507-IF provides a serial interface between a user terminal and a Fylde rack populated with '5 series' modules. The serial interface connections are to the input connector for the slot occupied by the FE-507-IF.

    • 2m DSUB to 7 pin input connector lead supplied with FE-507-IF.
    • Racks accept one interface module which can be fitted to any available slot in the rack.
    • Controls any mix of FE-579-TA, FE-537-SGA, and FE-530-IE modules.
    • Operates at 19200 baud.
    • Mains or DC option may be specified.
    • TEDS transducers can be used when this module is combined with FE-530-IE modules.
